How to write Korean alphabet

Let’s study Korean Consonants first.

Consonant Chart

The chart above doesn’t have the double consonant we learned like ㄲ, ㄸ, ㅃ, ㅆ, ㅉ.

I intentionally didn’t add double consonants because one you can write single consonants, you can also write double consonants. – For example If you can write ‘ㅂ’, you just can write ‘ㅂ’ twice to make ‘ㅃ’.

Vowel Chart

As you may have already noticed, vowels have three rules.

Vowels are created by these two rules.

• One or two vertical lines
• a horizontal line

you won’t find any vowels that break the above rules.
