Murungbyeolyuchunji Lavender Festival
Every June, the Murungbyeolyuchunji transforms from an abandoned limestone mine into a vibrant cultural space filled with emerald lakes and fragrant gardens. During the Lavender Festival, visitors can stroll through expansive lavender fields, enjoying the stunning natural scenery. At night, the landscape is beautifully illuminated, creating a unique atmosphere that contrasts with the daytime experience.
The festival features a variety of performances and hands-on programs throughout the day and night, enhancing the festive spirit. You can also find special lavender-themed food, merchandise, and local Donghae city goods.
