The Myeongju Puppet Festival is a vibrant celebration of puppetry that has captivated the citizens of Gangneung since its inception in 2014. This year's festival features an impressive lineup, including the opening performance "The Warm Adventure of Samsaek-i" by Byeolbyeolsa on July 22, 2026, and the gala show "Don't Wait For Me" by Snow on the eyelashes Company. With 18 performances from various domestic and international troupes, plus engaging experience programs for children, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
