2026 PyeongChang Daegwallyeong Music Festival

The 2026 PyeongChang Daegwallyeong Music Festival, hosted by Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province and organized by the Gangwon Cultural Foundation, will take place from July 23 to August 2, 2026. You’ll be surrounded by the sounds of classical music in stunning venues like the Alpensia Concert Hall and the Daegwallyeong Outdoor Stage, creating an atmosphere that resonates with both tradition and innovation.

This year's theme, 'Legacy and Innovation', showcases works from centuries of composers while introducing new artists and compositions. Expect a rich program featuring 19 main concerts, chamber music, masterclasses, and special lectures. Notable artists include conductor Hans Graf, pianists Sunwoo Ye-kwon and Kim Dae-jin, and the Pavel Haas Quartet.
