National Heritage Media Art
The National Heritage Media Art festival showcases our 'national heritage' through various regions across the country, organized by the Cultural Heritage Administration and managed by the National Heritage Promotion Agency. This year marks the sixth edition since its inception in 2021, where cutting-edge ICT technology will beautifully illuminate the national heritage in 12 different locations.
In 2026, the festival will feature sites such as Goryeo Palace Site in Ganghwa, Labor Party Office in Cheorwon, Daereungwon in Gyeongju, Tongdosa in Yangsan, Jinju Fortress in Jinju, Samdo Naval Command in Tongyeong, and more. Each location will present media art that reinterprets and maximizes the historical value of these cultural heritages, allowing visitors to experience the shimmering moments where past legacies connect with present life.
