The Gyeongsan Jain Dano Festival is a vibrant celebration that showcases traditional Korean culture, dating back to the Silla Dynasty. Visitors will experience the lively atmosphere filled with folk performances, rituals, and the spirit of the community as they honor their guardian deity, General Han, during the ancient festival of Dano.
This festival features a variety of activities including the Ho-Jang procession, Yeowon dance, Jain Palgwangdae, Jain Dano Gut, wrestling, and swinging. It's a unique opportunity to witness the rich heritage and artistic expressions of the Gyeongsan community, recognized as an Important Intangible Cultural Heritage since the Silla period.
