The Silla Cultural Festival, now in its 53rd year since its inception in 1962, showcases the rich history of the Silla Dynasty against the backdrop of the beautiful Woljeonggyo Bridge. Visitors can immerse themselves in vibrant street performances, art festivals, and the Silk Road Festa, all celebrating the cultural heritage of Gyeongju.
The festival features the Hwarang Hip-Hop Festa, where top domestic hip-hop artists perform in front of ancient tombs, creating a unique atmosphere. Additionally, the Moonlight Night Market, hosted by local merchants, offers a taste of Gyeongju's culinary delights. This festival is a perfect blend of history and art, providing a special experience in the millennium-old city of Gyeongju.
