The Gimje Horizon Festival is a vibrant celebration of traditional agricultural culture, set against the backdrop of the historic Byeokgolje, Korea's oldest and largest irrigation facility. Visitors can immerse themselves in the lively atmosphere filled with sounds of folk music and the aroma of local delicacies, making it a unique experience that captures the essence of Korea's rural heritage.
This festival features a variety of activities including the Presidential Cup National Nongak Competition, rice cooking in traditional clay pots, grasshopper catching, and rice harvesting experiences. You can also participate in traditional events like the legendary Twin Dragons Play and the Tug of War for a Good Harvest.
